I know I haven't wrote about my trip to Kuantan.
But there wasn't much to say anyway.
Except that I really detest going back.
(My cousins have my MSN email and Facebook friend, but not my blog.
Which equals to me being able to rant about them here :D)
Man, my parents keep pushing me to my younger cousin.
Why the heck do they think I'll want to hang out with her?!
I'm 3 years older than her, and there is practically nothing to converse with.
And my other cousins are just argh.
Ahh.
But anyway I'm back.
For now.
Gotta go back on Chinese New Year in 2010.

That's why I've decided!
I'm going to go overseas for my uni education.
Yes, just so I can avoid going back to visit my relatives.
And yes, this is just how much I really don't want to see them.
Maybe I can try alienating my cousins next time.

Went to do CIP again at Cheng San.
This time I met someone else(s) rather than the other volunteers I met the first time.
And they were pretty friendly.
I chatted with them for some time and I really like them.
One of them was the same age as me and studied at Cedar.
Cool.
I wish I had their contact details though.
Would have been nice to chat with them.
Anyway.
After my CIP went to eat McDonald's with naima.
&& it was yummy! :D
Then we went shop shop a bit.
Bought a new bag (<3!), a new purse (:D), and a new bracelet (:DD)!!
Of course was in a good mood.


Sunday, 27 December
Both good and bad.
Went with parents and nanny to buy a new Nissan Latio!
But this means that we have to go back to Malaysia to spend CNY.
Sianz.
Oh well...
Then we went Orchard Road to shop at Takashimaya and Plaza Singapura.
Mum was intending to buy new curtains and bedsheets for me for CNY.
But couldn't find a nice one.
Think will go back on Wed to PS to buy curtains.
Bedsheets = another story.
So sad that couldn't go to this book warehouse in Eunos.
They give you a free book at entrance, whether or not you buy anything.
And the books are at a darn cheap price.
New Moon = $6!
Will check it out someday.

Doing project with Juliet, ML and SC.
Well, we were doing before.
Now I'm blogging, Juliet and SC are playing DJ Max, while ML is watching VK online.

1st CIP @ Library

If anyone asks me about my CIP experience at the library (which some people have), I'll say, "Boring."
Seriously.
I got a CIP job at CSPL as an event helper.
Which equals to helping people redeem whatever items their loan receipts entitle them to.
And giving out flyers.
How exciting can that be?
2 - 4pm: The redeeming counter.
1 thing I've learned: bring book.
When there isn't anyone coming to redeem anything, there basically is nothing to do.
So you read.
I did bring books.
But I highly doubt the librarians would allow me to read a non-library book.
And I finished all my borrowed books anyway.
So I got nothing to do.
Luckily 1 of the other volunteers lent me a book.
Whatever her name was.
Oh yeah, on the way to the library, saw 1 couple fighting.
The girl was repeating sorry over and over again, begging the guy to accept it.
The guy just kept brushing her off coldly.
My first thought was,"Oh my god, if he doesn't want you then just go away! Sound damn pathetic man."
After a while I changed my mind.
One particular conversation I remembered.
Girl: "Sorry... sorry..." (Can't really tell what she said cos she was sobbing really hard... But the word sorry was distinctive.)
Guy: "And so you should be!"

.
Guy: "Why do I have to bear the brunt of everything?"
First statement of guy: So totally heartless.
JERK!
2nd statement of guy: Isn't the point in relationship compromising?
If a person feels that he has been the giving end of the relationship the whole time, then he should say something.
Peacefully, not like reprimanding.
That guy doesn't deserve the girl.
Come on, she apologised like 5 times and he doesn't even care.
He even walked off (in the rain!) with the girl following behind, getting drenched as well.
And they weren't even subtle in their "argument", since some curious onlookers were gazing after them.
Oh well, after all it's not my business...
So I can't really say anything.
On the way home, saw a woman, child and maid all decked out in purple.
Rather hilarious sight actually.
Family outfits...
Ridiculous.

Seeing as how my ace-learning's not done...

And my other homework too...
So I decided to stop slacking.

Sometimes I wonder why some Singaporeans are so pek cek.
Just the slightest thing can make them flare up.
Is it because of the intense heat in Singapore?
These two days have been very sunny.
And sunny weather makes me easily irritated.
Or is it because of the fact that they are hungry?
I also get easily irritated when I have an empty stomach.
Though it may be simply because some people cannot control their emotions well.
If everybody learns to hold a tighter rein on their feelings, the world would be a nicer place to live in, wouldn't it?

Shit.
Anyway.
I'm past caring.
No offense, but I highly doubt our teachers are going to mark them next year.
Hell, I think the teachers we are getting next year don't even know what homework we have.
But I'll still try to do as much as I can.

New Moon 3.12.09

Watched New Moon today!
:D
Met DM at XMPS bus stop at 11.45am.
Took 165 to Hougang Interchange.
Then took MRT to Dhoby Ghaut.
Went to Plaza Singapura to catch New Moon :D
Reached at around 1pm.
One showing at 1, but where got time to eat lunch then?
Anyway, it was selling fast, so if we bought tickets it wouldn't be good seats.
Another showing was at 1.30, but also no time eat.
So we chose the 2.50 show.
Ate at Yoshinoya.
I chose the Salmon bowl :D
Yummy!
Then we went shop shop a little.
Spent a lot of time at Comics Connection because DM wanted to look at Kpop stuff.
She went crazy over Shinee stuff. (Forgot how to spell Shinee.)
Then we decided to return back to CC cos the time to watch New Moon was up.
So we bought popcorn and went into the theatre.
Most of the theatre room was full.
(I think only the first two rows were empty.)
Movie review!
A not-too-bad adaptation of the novel.
However I think the part where Bella suffers because Edward left her and before she made friends with Jacob, as well as when Jacob leaves Bella when he became a werewolf should be extended.
The pain portrayed in these scenes is not enough.
Fortunately for the movie, Robert Pattinson was cool enough and Taylor Lautner was hot enough to make up for it :D
(And I also mean it in the literal sense.)

Back from Genting!
Got LOTS of things to report.
Think I'll start on the day to Genting.

Wednesday, 25 November
Took a coach to Genting.
The coach was from Transtar Travel.
Called First Class Solitaire.
Super comfy (:
And WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE ON BOARD.
I'm not kidding, it's true.
Turns out that Genting needed more buses so they had to drive one up anyway.
And coincidentally we were going there too.
So the whole bus only served us.
(There was a waiter.
Cool huh?)
Also came with personal entertainment system :DD
Got movies wor~
Plus games~
And nice dramas~
And the names are...

Mario!
BOYS OVER FLOWERS!!!
(I didn't watch BOF though cos where got enough time to watch whole series?!
And besides I only found out got the series when we were a few km away from SG on the way back -.-")
Yeah, watched Inkheart on the way.
Then watched Ayumi Hamasaki's concert :DD
(Anybody jealous?)
Reached Genting at around 2.
Then the stupid counter was at the tour part lor.
Super crowded.
Checked in at 4.
Diaoz waited for 2 hours to check in.
Stayed at First World deluxe room.
But the room was like damn small seh.
Practically had to crawl over the beds to reach the other side of the room.
Oh well.
Dumped luggage in the room then went to have lunch.
Lunch at 4+.
Strange thing was that I wasn't even hungry.
Probably cos I was feeling nauseous on the way up the mountain.
The driver was very fast and there were a lot of sharp bends...
Ate wonton soup.
Quite ok, but like everything else up there, it was ex.
Tourist attraction, what do you expect?
After lunch went to shop.
Bought:
1 hat
1 shirt
1 jacket
1 shorts
However since these items were branded so I spent quite a lot of money :X
Dinner was at Ah Yee's Abalone Restaurant.
I ate abalone, shark fin and bird's nest :DD

Thursday, 26 November
Bought an all park ticket.
Means that I can play in both the indoor and outdoor theme parks for unlimited time in a day.
Played bumper cars 3 times :D
And 1 of the roller coasters (I think it was called the Cyclone) 3 times :D
1 time tobaggan.
1 time go-kart (o.O minimum height 153cm... I'm 154)
1 time indoor ferris wheel.

Friday, 27 November
Not really much.
Went to play Mario Kart on Nintendo Wii at a cyber cafe for an hour.
The rest of the morning was spent sleeping and eating breakfast.
Boarded the bus at 3.30.
And went home.
Etc. Etc.

Today, Saturday, 28 November
Nothing much today too.
Ate.
Practised piano a little.
Played DJ Max on my psp.
Read book.
Blogged.
Yeah.

Today went to school to do project.
We started doing the literature review today.
All in all we did more work today.

I also obtained a lot of songs from the iTunes in the mac lab :D
And I mean a LOT of songs.

Turns out she had choir camp.
Cool...
But she didn't bring my souvenir cos she didn't know I was going to be in school.

On Friday met up with Juliet, ML and SC to do project.
Again.
And while we did do some research, we also slacked.
Again.
Just like what Juliet said, it's hard to concentrate on project in school.
For some reason.
Watched SS501's mv (which was so damn cool! The 1 with Hyun Joong as a baddie), Vampire Knight and Fruits Basket episodes.
Yeah, slacking alright.

Then went for piano lesson.
Almost reaching the end of my first exam piece liao.
Yippee!
Can get started on the second soon!
I hope.
At night went to Giant at Tampines to eat dinner, and also cos Shunhui Korkor wanted to buy Christmas stuff.
Ate grilled dory fish spaghetti, and it sucked.
Eesh, the fish was darn hard...
Waited for 5 whole minutes just to eat a stone-like fish.
Wonder if the person overcooked it...
The sauce was also over-extra.
I mean, the real way to eat dory fish is to put as little dressing as possible.
So as not to cover up the taste of the fish.
Well, the sauce covered up the fish alright.
At least the spaghetti wasn't too bad.
And the price was darn ex...
Terrible experience.
My first time at Giant...
Kinda like NTUC seh...
Saw some cool animes though...

Haha, we were too scared to watch that movie...
But for the sake of our poor hearts (or is it just mine?) I didn't buy...

Saturday went to my mum's shop cos my nanny wanted to dye her hair...
Also brought along the library books since I wanna take advantage of the bigger library...
And while I did get some books that were not available at the libraries near my house, there were some that were the same...
Oh yeah, also went to OG shop shop.
Bought this real cute t-shirt of two teddy bears drinking milkshake or smoothie (can't really tell!).
Cost $12.90.
Damn cute, so worth it.
Also bought a pair of grey shorts with cute buttons.
Grey's not really my colour I know, but when I first saw the shorts I was like, I'm so gonna get that.
So I got it.
$19.
Then went to Bugis Street.
Was a bustling place...
Perhaps due to it being a Saturday.
Saw this shop selling oh-so-chic clothes...
But too bad, didn't get a chance to check it out.
While I do like the clothes, somehow I don't think SC would like them...
But can still check it out, since the place does sell rather modern clothes...

After that went to Parkway cos Shunhui Korkor still didn't get his stuff...
He said that that was the only Giant shop that he hadn't visited.
Woots.
Also checked out the entertainment section again, but more or less the same as the Tampines branch...
Only with even older animes.

I wasn't too interested in walking in a supermarket, so I headed to the TimeZone upstairs...
Which wasn't as fun as I thought.
Got killed quickly in Time Crisis...
Even faster than normal.
Made the mistake of choosing Advanced track on the Daytona USA...
And lost before I even finished the race.
That branch didn't have the usual percussion game that I played, so I chose the machine that was similar to Hougang's...
And accidentally pressed the wrong track.
Failed 2 rounds out of 3.
Wonder if Juliet's gonna kill me...
With her DJ Max skills, think she's gonna fare better than me...
Saw Guitar Hero Arcade though.
Looked cool, but I didn't try that game.
I mean, I usually fared terribly playing the Wii version at home, seriously I was going to die if I played that.
Oh well...
So that was about it.
Drank Koi bubble tea afterwards.
Took the Passion Fruit 1 with jelly.
Then went home.
Reached home at about 10.50.
So I think I going off, since this is a veeerrry looonng post.

Had tons of fun XD
Guess birthday girl has luck, since Weiyi kept winning at Stress and Monopoly.
Then me as host kept losing :XX
Oh well.
And we forgot to eat the marshmallows we bought :X

Today, Thursday, 19 November

Went to watch 2012 with DM, QP and Char Pong at J8(:
Movie was ok, with cool special effects.
A bit touching, but some other movies were better.
Plot was half-believable.
And movie was super-lengthy.
Supposedly 157 minutes, and we watched the 2.30 show.
Came out at 5.30.
Partly must be the big amount of ads.
GV must be making serious bucks.
Rating: 3.5 stars out of 5 stars.
Better shows: Grudge 2, Haeundae.
But we had a lot of fun and talked a lot.
Ate a very yummy lunch: Kaarage Ramen :D
Yum yum.
Hope we can watch New Moon soon!

BBQ Chalet Trip 01/11/09

Ahh, finally the long overdue post of the chalet trip.
Charmaine (Pong) invited me, Dong Mei, Qiao Pei, Shi-Hui and Cassandra (Foo) to a chalet trip after school ended for the year.
Kinda like celebrating the start of holidays.
So then, we went to Aloha @ Pasir Ris on first of November!

Met DM they all at Hougang Interchange and took a bus there (forgot bus number, kindly refer to DM and/or QP and/or Cass Foo's blog to check) to Pasir Ris.
Then took a shuttle bus to Aloha at around Pasir Ris MRT.
DM, QP and Cass Foo bought bubble teas on the way.
Me? A bottle of orange juice.
Healthy me :D
Haha...
Flattering myself here...
Oh whatever.
Then when we finally reached there (at near 5), some of Timothy's friends had arrived.
Whatever.
They were just extremely dumb boys (which we bombed later with water bombs, boys versus girls. I'll get to that later).
So then we went up to Char's bedroom on the second floor.
Just sat around, chatting, exchanging songs and school life.
Y'know, catching up on one another's lives since we go to different secondary schools now.
Just for the record:

Pretty funny, if you ask me.
And crazy too.
After a while we went to the beach.
It was like 6 already, so it was windy and salty and nice.
No pretty sunset pictures though, it was a cloudy day :(
But I did take a few photos of the sea and the sun.
Mostly we had lots of fun scrawling on the sand.
Wrote messages to depict our friendship.
And of the life we are having now.
Also took group photos, but not with my phone so I gotta rip off later.
Ahh...
Finally at 7 plus we started the BBQ.
Okay, not really 'we'.
It was mostly Char's dad who did the barbecue-ing.
Some of us fanned the flames.
But mostly we indulged in the delicious sotong and fish and chicken wings :DD
Okay, conscience here: *guilty expression*
And then we ate and we ate and we gluttoned ourselves.
(Well, just kidding. The ones who really were gluttoning were me and DM :X)
Too delicious for words.
And now... For the big fun!
We went upstairs after the meal and made water bombs.
First round: Girls vs. Girls (divided into 2 groups. Don't really remember who vs who, but should be me and DM and Char Pong and her cousin vs QP and S-H and Cass Foo and another cousin)
Second and third round: Girls vs. Boys.
Damn, didn't get a good shot on Timothy, that obnoxious brother of Char.
But we had a lot of fun (:
However, we spent too long there, and had to be driven home by S-H's dad.
Meanwhile exchanged a lot of stuff before her dad came.
And talked a lot on the car.
Haha...
But it was a very shiok evening.

Woke up at 8.15am today for my piano lesson.

Actually woke up at 4.01am...
Dunno why suddenly woke up...
Then I dun think I fell asleep afterwards.
Don't remember.

Cos my piano teacher owed me lessons then she couldn't have makeup lessons anywhere else except early in the morning...
So bopian lor.
Feel so tired now.
So now my piano lessons are permanantly shifted to Friday aftns.
But I think first week maybe cannot cos crash with guitar lessons...
Dilemma.
Haiz...
And also got scolded today cos I couldn't memorize the scales.
Sianz...
Oh well, it's just about practising.
Practice makes perfect, isn't it?
Also, I spent 3+ hrs on an art competition piece.
Amazing, huh?
I never spent so much time over art before.
(In case u r wondering, the competition is compulsory.
For those who know me well, my art standard will definitely not be able to take part in any comps.)
Kind of feel gratification...
I mean if I anyhow do I will feel like, why the heck did I create such junks?
But at least even if I cannot win, I will think, I did my best!

Had been thinking that it was kinda hard to adjust to not having homework...
Said it too early, since thursday and friday gave homework :X
So now we have an English assignment to AMK Hub and designing a poster, a Maths online assignment, and a Science holiday assignment...
One word: Sianz.
Seems to me that our teachers love to give us hmk during holidays, especially science.
Oh well, since sci is our school's niche anyway...
Expected...
Was actually entertaining the thought of not have homework for the whole holiday...
(Or at least little homework.)
But the homework given...
I won't actually count it as little.
Omg, the amount of time going to be spent on science research...

Ok, oops.
Still, I hope we survive the experiment...

Went with DM, QP and Char (Pong) to catch Haeundae: The Deadly Tsunami.
IT. WAS. DAMN. SHIOK.
First we went to eat at Mos Burgers (at my suggestion).
We all ate the Ebi rice burger... Yum!
I also bought the fries, u noe the yummy fat fries of Mos?
We ate for a super long time cos the food was slow (a lot of ppl) and we kept chatting...
Then Char appeared (she went out to somewhere else before meeting us) with the pics in the second album of the Boys of Flowers soundtrack...
And naturally we began talking about BOF and dramas.
(The pics were the free gift for the album.)
DM went absolutely crazy over DBSK.
My verdict: not as shuaii as BOF. (haha, I'm as superficial and hypocritical as DM... Because I only look at the looks and I criticised DM for doing so. :P)
Finally went to watch the movie.
(Oh yeah, since it was the eve of Deepavali, dun hab student price. Gah. Waste $2.50. Sianz.)
Rating: 4.5 stars out of 5
Verdict: Super nice and touching. Sensitive ppl need tissues. But the front part of the movie was too long and unneccessary... Kinda bored us out. I was going every 5 minutes, where's the tsunami? Where's the tsunami?
Then went to Hougang Mall walk walk (:
Obviously the bookworms headed for the library!
Borrowed some new books (:
(Betcha ML will like it. One of the books, I mean. ML read one of the other books, and as for the last book... Maybe Shuai Ming will want.)
Then visited Comics Connection and Mini Toons in search for a gift for Char's tutor.
I had to leave earlier... Needed to buy something.
So... That's it!
Though, we forgot to take pics AGAIN.

On Saturday I just went to shop at Kovan and Hougang Mall.

Last paper of SA2 (Lit).
Was generally ok...
Hope can score ok marks...
After that went to Northpoint with Juliet, Miaoling, SiokCheng, Nicole and Weiyi to celebrate Abi's birthday (who of course went with us, otherwise how to celebrate?)!
Lunched at Ishi Mura (:
I ate: salmon omelette ($5.90).
Rate: 4 stars out of 5
The omelette was seriously yummy.
So was the sauce.
But if they weren't so miserly and gave more salmon instead of 3 pathetic pieces...
It would've been better.
Also ate salmon sushi and bought a Japanese pancake (which most likely is Doraemon's favourite snack).
Salmon sushi: Super ex. Anywhere's cheaper than there ($1.20!)
Pancake: Damn yummy. Definitely recommend it if cost isn't the point ($2)
Then went to shop at a few stores.
Bought a necklace for myself, a sweet butterfly. ($5)
So did Nicole, a dolphin necklace with a green gem.
Also bought a necklace for Abi since it's her birthday.
(Oh yeah, we paid for Abi's lunch together.)
And then went TimeZone and went mad!
Played lots of games (thanks to SC's sponsorship, who adamantly refused to let us pay her for most of the games + neoprints that we took. Managed to top up $2 inside the card myself though, since I didn't bring my own card) including House of the Dead and MarioKart [:
Had a ridiculously fun time!
(Too bad Abi had to leave at 2.30... so she didn't play a lot of the games. And SC refused to take neoprints, so it was only the 5 of us in the pics.)
SC took a lot of snacks and sweets from Big Sweet Land (no details, since I was at toilet, and it's kinda... dangerous to describe)... -.-"
Later went to Mc's and bought an Oreo McFlurry for the first time [:
(Loads of first times, doesn't it seem? First time going to Northpoint, first time going shopping with Weiyi and Nicole (not sure about Abi, but I think got go out with her before), first time eating at Ishi Mura, first time eating a Japanese pancake, first time playing House of the Dead, first time taking neoprints with these adorable peeps, and first time eating Oreo McFlurry. I think it's gonna be a historical day for Cally.)
Verdict: Highly unlikely to be eating Vanilla cone again. Unless I'm broke.
Reluctantly went home at 5.15pm.
It was damn fun...
I hope we can go out again! (Most likely soon.)

I keep feeling a little lost.

-Write fanfic. (Yep! Decided! It's a VK fanfic, btw...)
-Be online in facebook. Reviving accounts in process.
-Clear emails and whatnot.

Reliving piano

As I promised, I will post the result of lemonade/orange juice.

Had my first piano lesson in years.
And boy, wasn't it fun!
I felt the reason why I had wanted to learn piano so many years ago.
The last time I was learning piano, I was gradually growing dissatisfied with piano.
I kept questioning myself why I had even bothered to learn in the first place.
But today was the day that I finally appreciated the fact that I had learned piano before.
Today was a magical day.
It ignited the passion for music and piano within me again.
(I'm not saying that there wasn't the passion before. But it was a small flame. However, now it's a big burning candle. The candle that warms me and guides me towards the end of the path that I am walking on.)
I almost regretted not re-learning earlier, or even not learning there in the first place.
Definitely music schools are better than community centres.
Well, unless your teacher was good.
I'm filled with so much joy from my piano lesson that my first impulse after the lesson was to run straight home and practise the piano to siao.
Now I'm really happy and love the piano.
I'm not sure if I was ever this happy when playing the piano, but definitely am surprised that I am so happy.
I REALLY REALLY LOVE THE PIANO!!!!

Oh yeah, my teacher told me to bring the grade 2 exam pieces book next lesson. (I'm grade 1 now.)
I was like, oh, ok.
Until it finally sunk in (long time after): I'm going to start playing the pieces!
Omg, it's only the 2nd lesson and I AM PLAYING EXAM PIECES ALREADY????
Don't tell me I'm taking the exam, say 3 months later?
Is it even possible.
This is way scary.

Tough Choices

When life throws you lemons, make lemonade.
However, what if you only have 1 jug, 1 fruit squeezer machine, and lots of oranges AND lemons?
Even though oranges contain lots of vitamin C, what if you prefer lemonade?
What do you make? Lemonade or orange juice?
A while ago I was trapped in a sticky situation.
However that has been taken of.
But why do I feel kinda hollow?
I realised that the lemons are spoilt...
Lots of worms inside...
But I'm not sure if I should take orange juice, or drink nothing.

Got a few things to post.
First thing, tests are over for now, and am quite pleased with the results (:
Eng - 78/100 (A1!!!! :D)
Maths - 74/100 (Gahh, juz 1 more mark to A1!! :/)
Science - 80/100 (80! But quite some ppl get above 80, so isn't anything to celebrate about anyway... But quite unexpected to get A1 actually. :/)
Chinese - ??? (No idea at all.)
Geography - Guaranteed A1 de. Not bragging, but my test result quite high. The percentage also quite high.
The rest dunno liao...
Waiting for the report book.
CCA is getting more hectic, and I'm feeling quite worried too.
The competition is nearing and we haven't exactly finished up yet.

Guitar class rocks!!!
Seriously love to strum the guitar (even know I don't have fingernails).
Hopefully I can learn how to play Taylor Swift songs (I am NOT pissing Juliet off here).

NAPFA test - 2.4 km

Today was RHD cum NAPFA 2.4 km run.
Kinda wished I had ethnic costumes, they looked so nice and cool in the costumes.
NAPFA ah...
Sianz leh, failed the test.
Passing grade was 18.30 min.
My timing was 20.50 min.
So damn far off sia.
...
I think I may train myself these few weeks for the retest.
Then went for cca.
Saw that 31 Aug hv cca.
Most likely cannot go back to XMPS.
Haiz...
Really want to see my friends sia.
No choice bahhs.
Sigh.
Was feeling kinda frustrated hours ago...
But now cool down liaos.
I feel that I have mood swings.
That kinda gets out of control in my opinion.
When I feel frustrated I want to throw things on the floor.
It's only because of my self-control that I didn't do so.
But inside I really want to vent my frustration that way.
Maybe I should take up kickboxing or something.
A healthier way to vent it...

Feeling that my mood's getting crappier.
Which isn't a good sign.
Still, it's lucky that I only feel crappy at evening.
Usually it's the whole day.
Feeling damn tired, but can bet that I definitely won't sleep now.
It's more like can't, cos my body has an automatic alarm that just won't let me sleep in daytime.
Though technically there's no sun out there right now and it's close to 7.
Even if I'm sick chances are 50% that I won't sleep.
My body is slowly killing itself.

The cheng yu tests for the past 2 terms were not very satisfying...

Watched a film called Kiterunner.
I REALLY want to know what happens in the end!!

Actually, watching that film kinda makes me feel blessed...
I mean, look at how Afghanistan is turning out under the Taliban rule.
People are suffering, living in constant fear.
The orphans don't even have enough to eat.
(And I ate Mcdonald's for lunch!)
And I'm writing this on a laptop.
When compared to them, of course I am living a better life.
So, maybe I'll go to such countries when I grow up as a volunteer....
Because I want to experience the life that they live.

Random note: I suddenly find myself having reduced imagination.
Today, when I was finally doing the D-something key homework (clue: science), I was racking my brains on how to come up with names for 'aliens', and eventually came up with some weird names.
Maybe I'm really getting 'old'.

Movie plot: 4 out of 5 stars.
Realistic plot, with the oh-so-familiar thing about money.
Very easily gets into the horror part of the movie.
Horror part: 4 out of 5 stars.
Really has the horror part.
(The first time I screamed in a horror movie!)
Overall: 4 stars
Would recommend it to anyone who wants to get a good scare.

Visited MINT museum of toys!
Took loads of pics (:

After that ate at the MINT cafe.
Had the soup of the day.
Rather delicious.
Dad had the afternoon tea special.
The choc cake was nice sia~
The ambience was nice, and the table had special 'paper' that u can request to bring home as souvenir.
Would definitely recommend it~
After that headed to Central Lending Library.
Borrowed 5 books so current borrowing list is full (borrowed 3 other bks on another day).
And out of the 8 books in my possession nw, 7 is Meg Cabot's books.
Wow.
Perhaps I'm turning into a Meg Cabot fan?
Hahas.
(The 1 non-Meg Cabot book was yet another vampire series, House of Night book 1 Marked by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast. Am reading it now.)
Went to Popular and bought a science guide.
Which reminds me of the chinese composition guide book I bought.

Just now I saw the first star in the night sky during my evening walk.
People say that if you see the first star in the sky, known as the Evening Star, and make a wish, your wish will come true.
Well, so I made a wish.
But just as I was about to make a wish, I realized something.
I was contended with everything I had.
I didn't need miracles.
Ironic, isn't it?
My wish list is pretty full with what I want.
Yet I found out that I didn't need wishes.

Goals in secondary school

Rawr.
Finally decided to blog today.
A short rundown on these few days:
30 May - 1 June:
Cyber training.
Abt 9 -5.
2 June:
APRC at Suntec.
7.30 - 6.
Didn't win, but good try.
3 June:
Proj work at first in sch, then outside at AMK library with Miao Ling, Juliet and Siok Cheng.
Also borrowed some Meg Cabot books.
(And chiong-ed 2 out of 3 bks alr!!)
4 June:
Currently blogging (duh?).
Not sure whether nid to go back to sch or not.

During the few days of cyber training, I decided:
- Gotta chiong my hmk during this few days if possible.
- Gotta do better in maths.
- Gotta aim to be sci spec next yr (to gv myself pressure).
- Gotta brush up on my sci.
- Gotta learn to play the piano once more.
- Gotta do CIP.
- Gotta be better in cyber.
Wow, it's like I discovered my goals for nw (which I do).
I hope can achieve all of them.
Also, during this holiday, I gonna do the following:
- Donate bks I dun nid anymore.
- Read more bks.
- Do more assessments.
Guess that's it?
Hectic holiday ahead.

9am - 5pm.
I always disliked going back to sch on holidays.
AND this is Saturday.
Oh well.
I chose to take part in APRC anyways.
So now I'm tired.
Both physically and mentally.
Spent so many hours in sch...
It's no wonder.
Besides I was kinda slacking.
And I'm even more tired when I slack.
Weird.
The thought of homework makes me shudder.
Got so much.
I want to get a rest.
For both.
But I wanna play facebook :)

Current SA1 results

My current SA1 results.
English (comprehension): 15/25 (so-so.)
Maths: 29/80. (Shocking.)
Chinese: Paper 2 - 38/45(great!), overall - 73/100 (A2! Yay! Only 1 A1, and that's WSM'S.)
Science: Paper - 45.5/60 (not bad), overall - 76/100 (I think, I actually forgot my own marks. Anyway, yay A1!)
Geography: Paper - 64/80 (not bad, I actually thought I'll fail.)
History: Paper - 39/50 (a bit disappointed, I was expecting higher.)
Drama: Paper - 25/30 (yay!), overall - 77/100 (if I'm not wrong. I know I got A1 though. Yay!)
Literature: ??
D&T/HE: ??
I think that's all...
Overall I guess okay bah.
Now I finally realise y I last term never get a cert for a particular subject.
It's because I don't do particularly well in a particular subject.
I do okay for all.
I don't specialise in 1 subject.
Though I do particularly badly for maths.
That's it.
So I'm not expecting 1 this term.
My results for all subjects are only so-so (I mean when comparing to the highest in class).
Hope I can get 1 next term.

YES exams are over!
Ytd was my drama theory test (stil got practical, but i'm not thinking about that).
Also took the NSW Sci paper.
The drama was.. ok lah.. teensy bit difficult.
Sci to me was easy man :)
Then aft that went home.
Changed clothes, had lunch and dashed out agn.
Was meeting dm (and later qp too) at the 623 bus-stop to take bus to AMK hub to watch The Uninvited.
Was late ><><><
(English poem, drama practical rehearsal, home econs sewing.)
Oh well.
Will do later.
Not really sure what to do now.
Don't think can concentrate on homework anyway.

Then 9.40 dismissed liaos.
Didn't know wat to do so went amk hub with abi.
Very funny lols on the bus hor saw serene, wingyu, rachel and yue ning waiting to cross the road.
So we arranged to meet there.
Very early lors the shops not even open yet -.-
Me and abi ate breakfast (or rather I ate cos abi didn't eat anything) at the food court.
Then when I call them they said they at the roti prata shop.
So after I finished eating we went to find them.
We also saw weixiang there with them.
Halfway through eating leon appeared.
Then we all chatted until breakfast finished liaos.
Abi and leon went toa payoh to buy present for you xun (ppl went there to either buy you xun or wingyu bday present).
Weixiang funny sia forgot he was attending a camp at his pri sch so ran off.
Left only me rachel wingyu serene and yue ning.
Yue ning left close to 12, I left at 12.
Leaving those 3 to buy the present.
Cos I was meeting dm, qp and char pong at hg mall.
Hahas ytd went 2 malls sia.
I there alr dm then called say her stupid teach ask her stay behind so she 1+ then came.
QP and char pong gt hmt so they 2+ then come...
In the meantime I read finish Meg Cabot's Twilight and borrowed another book named Prom Nights from Hell.
Not scary derrs -.- even though they said it was a horror book.
Juz abt vampires and grim reapers only...
Anyways dm came at 1+ then we went for lunch.
I ate a ebi + salmon rice bento while dm ate a salmon set (Jap stall derrs).
Damn yummy sia n very cheap somemore.
I finished lunch liao qp and char appeared then we go shop shop.
Saw Eclipse in Popular :D gotta get it this weekend YEAH!
Went comic connection, library n mini toons then left hg mall.
Bought bubble tea (even though I bought coke before that) n waffles for naima.
Realised that it was like 2 or 3 months since I last went out with dm and the rest.
