Christmassy Ideas

Christmas countdown! Can't believe Christmas is that near already.. haven't even started planning my Christmas party yet... OMG...

Well, I'm planning to have a sort of BBQ-themed party.... the guests have to cook their food themselves. Yummy!

My friend Eva plans to have a sports-themed Christmas party(maybe basketball-themed, since she asked the guests to meet at the basketball court near her house). Very energetic party! (For those who dunno, Singapore is sunny all year round-not exactly, since as I'm typing this outside's raining cats and dogs-so it's all right to play basketball)

Rain's moving house somewhere around this time and I think she said something about holding her Christmas party at her new house(she said something like that on her sister's bday party last month) so I think it's kind of a mix of house-warming Christmas party.

With so many new different kinds of Christmas parties, it's no wonder if there's fancy dress Christmas party or a beach-themed party!

Ciao!

New clothes for Winter and Christmas

I love designing clothes. It gives me a contented feeling. Likewise, I'm good at mix 'n' match my own clothes. Here are some tips u can do for ur wardrobe.

- Dress the original Christmas colour Red, Green and White
If u can knit well, why not make a Christmas beanie with the three colours above as ur colours for ur 'Christmas costume'? You can also wear ur clothes in RGW style - say, red coat(u can wear any colour of clothes underneath ur coat 'cos when u go out nobody could tell what colour of clothes u r wearing underneath ur coat),green pants and white shoes(haha, ur shoes will match the snow and nobody could tell ur shoes apart from the snow).

- Be Creative. Decorate ur old scarf
You can buy some 'snowflake' sequins(sequins in the pattern of snowflakes)from good craft shops and sew them on your scarf(sew more sequins on the ends of it because when u wear it the ends are the most obvious). Try to find the thread that matches the scarf most so the thread wouldn't be so obvious. You can also buy those ready-made bead fringes and sew them at the very bottom of the scarf ends. Have fun playing in the snow!

- love ur D.I.Y snowflake bag!
If u have any leftover snowflake sequins from making ur own scarf, why not find an old bag and sew the sequins on for ur very own snowflake bag? Neat idea huh!

If u have any fashion idea, send me at http://profile.zwinky.com/zwinkyprofile/main.jhtml?username=foreverfriendsg. There's this thing called Znotes which u will find on the page. Leave ur fashion idea there and if I like it, I'll publish it on my blog. Gd luck and Ciao!

*Note: You have to be a member at Zwinky to leave me a Znote. If u don't wish to be 1, leave me ur fashion idea as a comment on this blog. Thanks.
