Piano exam today!

Today was my grade 2 piano exam (like duh).
It was okay...
Screwed up my chromatic scale and sight-reading.
Aural should be average.
Pieces should be good.
Hopefully can reach my target.
Anyway.
Before my test started I had a little last-minute practice.
My teacher kept asking me to relax.
Hahaha.
Still, I was overly nervous and screwed up.
Then while I was practicing, she (teacher) gave my dad a piece of paper saying I was promoted to grade 4 next month.
My dad told me afterwards when I was waiting for my turn for the exam.
I was like, WHAT?!
Cos I didn't really expect to skip.
Or to skip to grade 4.
I mean, it's kinda a big jump.
But now I've cooled down, I'm ecstatic.
I'M A GRADE 4 PIANIST TOMORROW!!!!!!
Okay, pardon me.
Too happy.

But it's also kinda stressful.
I mean, hello.
Most likely I'm going to take grade 5 exam next year.
Stressful like hell.
Cos if I screw up that exam, I'm never going to be promoted until I retake.
Which is a waste of $.
Then is everyone's expectations...
I mean, try getting good grades and scoring well in piano exams.
Not that it's impossible, but it's difficult.
But well, let's just take it one step at a time, shall we?

Thinking back, my piano education has been rather short.
Well, I did waste 3 years in beginner class (if u really want to know about it, ask me personally).
But then I took a 2(or so) year hiatus from piano.
Then started again last year September as a grade 1 pianist.
Took grade 1 for half a year, then sat for grade 2 exam today.
Tomorrow, grade 4 pianist.
It is a big jump.
So really, in answer to my senior's (in both robotics and piano) question, waiting for 3 months was worth it.
If I had taken any other teacher back then, I may not be able to skip grades.
Which means I might have taken a longer time to get a degree in piano.
So, I'm glad!

3 more days to piano exam...
I'm so nervous.
It feels like no matter what preparations I've done, it's still not enough...
And that I'm going to fare badly for this exam.
My first piano exam ><
Ahh.
I don't dare to aim too high...
But I'm a person that needs to aim high in order to do well.
So I'm aiming for Merit.
(Not that I can get Merit, but at least can do better.)
I'm practically a nervous wreck now.
Well anyway, hope every exam-taker can get flying results!

I had a runny nose the whole day today.

Went to see a doctor after skipping Basic Animation course.
The bill was SIXTY-SIX dollars.

I was like, WTH sia.
So darn ex.
Cos the doc said I had a mild allergy to dust mites.
Then gave me the nasal spray.
Which cost THIRTY-SIX dollars.
OMG.
My parents are so going to kill me.
Not that it's my fault.
Still have to do homework...

Worst thing: submit tomorrow.

Today had geog.
Too bad, it was ACB again.
I realised today that there was a worksheet that I didn't get.
The problems of sitting at the back.
And I didn't know about the worksheet.
Then ACB was like ranting on and on.
In fact her first words were, "I've heard this line many times."
I was like, wat the effing hell.
Like it was MY fault that I didn't get the darn worksheet.
Then she started scolding Jane too cos she sat beside me.
Truth was, that way we switched places.
So a bit confusing.
(For the record, I didn't switch, is ppl want to switch with me.
But I'm not blaming them.)
In fact, it wasn't anybody's fault.
So, damn her.
Ahhh.
Guess I should shut up and do my lian bi now.

Malacca trip 10.03.10 - 12.03.10

So, most of the sec2s embarked on a/an (educational) trip to Malacca.
Thus, this is my "diary" of events.

Day 1 - Wednesday, 10.03.10
Woke up at abt 5.30am.
DAMN tired sia.
ZZZZ
So did what I usually do.
And reached school at abt 6.
Then met Weiyi, Janis, Jane and SC.
(Not sure when met Nicole.)
Then proceeded to canteen.
Then waited for everyone else.
Ate coffee bread while waiting for the rest of the ppl.
(Sheesh, I think I left the remainder in my bag and it's still in my bag after 3 days!!!!!)
Okay, will continue the rest of the post tomorrow.

Don't know how to write.
Got 5 A1s :D
But a C6 for Maths :(
Think I'll go by subs.
English - 76 (A1 for first time! :DD)
Higher Chinese - 67 (B3. Boohoo. Mr Chock'll kill me if he sees this. ): )
Maths - 51 (Wowies for me, failed 3 tests out of 4 and still passed. Whee. C6.)
Science - 78 (Yay, A1! :D)
Geography - 93 (YIPPEES!! A1 :D spectacularly (:)
History - 76 (Yikes, deproved. A1 nonetheless.)
Literature - 88 (Thank goodness. A1.)
Art - 74 (DAMN MS EZAN, DON'T WANT GIVE ME 1 MORE MARK TO GET A1. GAHHHH.)
Home Econs - 74 (DAMN MRS KUMAR TOO. GAHHHHH.)

Yesterday went to Toa Payoh.
No, I didn't see ML.
Went online and saw that Suspicion (Kate Brian) and The Secret Circle (L. J. Smith)was not borrowed there.
And Maggie Jie Jie wanted to watch movie.
So we went there.
Went to Toa Payoh library first to borrow the books.
Saw Darke Academy (Gabriella Poole) 2 seh!
Was looking for the book.
Hope it's good.
Cos I gave up borrowing Last Christmas (Kate Brian) for it.

Can't wait for Scandal to be out :DD
Anyway.
After borrowing books, went to Eng Wah to watch Being Human.
Bought nachos.
So little lah.
Eng Wah wanna save $.
Aiyo.
Finished it like, 20 minutes after movie started?
Tsk.
The movie wasn't too bad at least.
Quite funny.
Hmm, about 3 stars out of 5?
Something that can be watched when there's nothing to do.
The lesson to be learnt rings loud and clear.
Don't stoop to winning by underhand means and sacrificing everything else, most importantly honesty.
Some people should so watch this movie.
After the movie was Sakae for dinner.
Yum~
I just love sushi.
It was a yummy dinner.
Then we went walk walk around.
Many shops around.
Also headed to Popular to check out some books and purchase some stationaries.
Then went to walk again.
Also bought bubble tea from Koi.
After that we went home.
Fab-ulous day~
Okay, gotta go now.
A LOT of maths unaccomplished.

When we were dining in Sakae, the music playing was Korean.
Japanese cuisine and Korean music.
Japan doesn't have nice music of its own meh?

Anderson Cross-country Run 2010

As the title says, today was the cross country run.
Nicole didn't want to run, so we failed.
LOL.
Like I care.
Heh.
Meanwhile, before and after the run, lotsa ppl dedicated songs.
Damn fun to sing the popular songs with the rest of the school :D

Much less Mr Cumming.
But they're darn popular with the school.
For our class, quite some ppl won the top 20.
Aiyo, thought Juliet won.

But as least Weiyi and Jane won.
Anyway, when we got dismissed, we went to Compass Point via LRT.
2nd time taking LRT (:
Damn smelly sia cos the whole LRT stuffed with Andersonians.
Sweaty from the run and sun.
(Wow, rhyming. :D)
Pitied whoever was in the same LRT and not from Anderson :P
(Oh yeah, "we" meant me, Juliet, MiaoLing, SiokCheng, Weiyi, Nicole and Felicia.)
Me and Felicia decided to go Yoshinoya for brunch.
(11+ only.)
I chose Salmon Student Meal while Felicia took Beef (without veggies. Tsk. So unhealthy).
Then went to find Juliet and Co. at Kopitiam upstairs.
Then everyone visited toilet (except me and Felicia, since Felicia went and I didn't want to go).
Then went library.
Found books that I wanted to borrow.
Really want.
Guess I'll go tomorrow.
Hopefully still there.
Juliet, Weiyi and SiokCheng left CP at about 1.
(LOL, CP shrimps :D)
The rest of us slacked there.
Nicole and ML went missing for 1? 2? hour(s).
Finally found us in library.
LOL, no common sense.
Can just find us at library.
ML should know.
Anyway.
Left library at dunno wad time.
Went window-shopping.
But Nicole bought an ice cream and some stationaries.
Reminded me that I needed to buy too.
Sheesh.
And I haven't finished my maths homework.
Still need to go out.
