Updated my song list!
In contrast to my 28-song playlist before, this current playlist only has 2 songs (:
So the songs are: (neither are new songs, but it doesn't matter)
Try Smiling (alternative title: Trying to Smile) by Daesung (yes, from Big Bang).
Raining by F.T. Island.
Here's the details on each song.
Try Smiling is an awesome song.
And I'm not saying this because he's my bias (although he is).
Seriously, just listen to the song.
A lot of people say that listening to the song makes them cry, even though they have no idea what it means.
And the lyrics is just so sad...
By the way, the song is Daesung's solo song.
It's in Big Bang's third Korean single.

Basically it's about a guy who loves this girl, but she's in love with a guy who doesn't deserve him.
So the poor guy (obviously Daesung) can only try smiling in front of the girl even though he's secretly crying behind her back.
Really really sad song.

As for Raining, when I listen to it I get goosebumps (and I don't understand it either).
By the way, it's a Japanese song.
FT Island released this song as part of their promotion in Japan.
And darn, their Japanese is better than Big Bang's.

The MV was filmed in Cebu, Philippines, and they got stranded there because of typhoon season.
Thank goodness they were fine, or You're Beautiful wouldn't be You're Beautiful.
Nor will FT Island be FT Island.
Anyway~

I think it's because he said something wrong that led to their breakup.
He still loves and misses her, and wants her to return to his side.
But no, that's not gonna happen.

So fifth day was shopping day :D
I guess that pretty much takes care of it now huh?
(Oh yeah, just recalled. Bought 2 books on the fourth day when we went the Twin Towers :D.

Bought a pair of boots at this shopping centre that apparently a lot of Singaporeans like to go to.
Forgot the name, but we were in KL.

Erm, cost me like about RM 70.
Not very ex lah.

Finally going home~
Went to play Paintball in the morning cos it was free!
Hasif and Ivan's room (at least, I think it's their room) were locked and their cards couldn't open, so they ended up standing outside their room for 1+ hour.
As a way of saying sorry, the hotel let us play Paintball for free (:
And by the way, 1 game of Paintball is expensive.
So I got a bruise that is still kinda there...
Okay, 2 bruises.

But I take it as a memento of our trip + Paintball game (:
Heh, I'm that optimistic :D

So after the trip, I didn't really do anything... until Sunday.

Had my first choir concert (:
(Yes, you saw right. I was in a choir. Unbelievable? Believe it. :D)
It was kinda awesome.I use kinda because well, it would have been better if:
1) We didn't have to pay for the concert tickets (the ones who got conned into doing, I mean).
2) We didn't have to miss part of the concert.
I really really wanted to watch the guitar ensemble :(
3) It was more organised.We didn't know where to go or what to do.
Aka COMPLETELY LOST.
4) It wasn't on that day. I WANTED TO WATCH MNET AWARDS SHOW :(
But anyway.
We sang a medley of songs from West Side Story.
Not quite sure the names since they never told us.
But here's some details.
First song: solo tenor (guy obviously) singing a song about Maria. (In fact, I think the song name IS Maria.)
Second song: whole choir. We made a lot of things. Haha. ("Make of our hands, one hand...")Third song: whole choir. Somehow, someday, somewhere... :D
But I did have fun.
Maybe I'll take part next year, but don't buy the ticks... Too ex liao lah ><
There were quite a few performances, but I only remembered some.
Like, the violin one... (With the solo violin.)
There was a nice piano song as well.
And I liked the electric violin playing Bad Romance as well.
Not too bad of a night (:

Well, I met 2AM for the first time.
And met them quite a few times on the day as well.
Haha.
For those who don't know, 2AM is a South Korean boy band consisting of 4 members:
Jinwoon, Jokwon, Changmin and Seulong.
They mostly sing ballads, but they sing all genres of songs so long as the lyrics have meaning.
The type of band I like (:
And btw, Seulong acts in the hit kdrama Personal Taste.
He's one of the employees in Lee Min Ho's character's company (the younger one obviously), and who has a crush on a girl who has a crush on Lee Min Ho's character.
So, he's my bias :D
Anyway.
Here's a little background on how I got to meet 2AM.
So, for those who (still) don't know, I got an iPhone (:
Yes, the 4th series.
And I took the iFlexi 3G plan (the name's something like that).
Because I signed up with SingTel, I got to use a special feature of theirs: SingTel AMPed.
It's a service that allows users to download unlimited songs with no data cost.
For free.
(And since SingTel's offering it, it obviously is legal.)
Besides that, AMPed also offers lucky draws from time to time.
One lucky draw (okay, the ONLY) I took part in was to win tickets to the MNET Ultimate Live concert in SG on 4 Dec.
Other prizes include meeting 2AM.
In order to take part, I just needed to download minimum 3 songs from BEAST and 2AM each.
At that point of time, I had 9 songs of BEAST and 3 songs of 2AM.
Compared to those who downloaded the entire album, I must say I'm lucky.
So yeah.
When I was shopping around in Orchard on Wednesday, 1 December 2010, I received a call from SingTel.
Here's the conversation.
Me: Hello?
SingTel: Hi, is this Cally Tan?
Me (Wondering who the heck it was): Uh, yes.
SingTel: Hi, this is SingTel. *blah blah*
Me (WAIT, WHAT? SingTel? I didn't pay my bills is it? DADDY! Oh wait, I should listen to what they're saying.)
SingTel: ... You're one of 10 winners to go to 2AM's press conference in Singapore. Are you free tomorrow at noon?
Me (WHAAAAT?! I WON?! Wait, how did I even win? ... Oh ya, SingTel AMPed. Forgot about it.) : Uh, sure, I'm free!
SingTel: Okay, so we'll send you a confirmation message later. Please note that you have to be at Marina Bay Sands at 11:15am.
Me: Uh, okay. Sure, bye. (What's with the uhs...)
SingTel: Bye.
Me (thinking): Okay, that must be one of the most calm calls the guy did. Bet some girls are screaming their heads off. LOL. And why am I so calm? O.o
Hahaha.
So I waited... and waited... and waited.
And got a bit worried when they didn't send the message 15 mins later.
LOL.
Too anxious liao.
Then I was like, okay I need to go to the toilet.
So I went... and came out.And checked my phone.
And screamed internally.
Oh shit, I missed their call!!!
(And I was to find out later that I might have been 1 of the 4 winners to the MNET Ultimate Live tickets... JEEZ! JUST BECAUSE I WAS IN THE TOILET AT THE WRONG TIMING!)
So I called back...
And didn't get through. -.-"
So I was like, okay nvm...
(If only I knew.)
Then I checked my phone like, half an hour later...
And the message came. (:
Whee~Okay, so NOW's the actual day. (Man, I crap too much.)
I really reached there at 11:15am.
But couldn't find the person-in-charge because he was late. -.-"
HOW EPIC.
Then I got to meet some of the other winners as well...
Audrey and Sharon are INCREDIBLY tall. :O
But they're nice people.
Actually, all of them are.
In fact, at the end of the day we were all like friends haha.
Anyway.
So we met and went up to the press conference room.
And we got the last row -.-"
Haiz.
Envied the reporters and VIPs.
But oh well.
At least we saw them up close!

But I heartzxc his outfit.
(They all wore the same outfits for their live performances like Music Bank.)

And they gave funny responses and facial expressions throughout the conference...
Changmin's pout was funny and cute.
Hahaha I can still remember :D
And they sang a few lines of one of their songs a capella! (I think it's Like Crazy.)
Pro right~
And yes, in tune. :D
They sang due to a request... How nice of them!
(No pictures or videos cos we were not allowed to take. WTH lah, who cares man?! But we really didn't get to take. Grr.)
After the press conference, we loitered around and had lunch and stuff.
(Oh yeah, and I found out Kim Hyun Joong had his press conference in the room opposite 2AM's, separated by a corridor. WTH! If I knew earlier I would have gone earlier -.-")
So around late afternoon we took pictures with 2AM.
Yep.
Not just us of course, but a whole bunch of people were there.
Lucky we were separated into our groups (we were called the AMPed group, LOL. But at least better than the Wanbao group right! HAHA~).
Aww, I didn't get to stand next or near Seulong :(
I was squatting/kneeling (can't remember cos I was in a state of idol closeness overdose LOL) in front of Jokwon.
But anyway!
I was in the photo :D
Now, just waiting for SingTel to send us the photos...
Then after that, me, Stephanie (one of the girls) and another girl... Can't remember her name >< took a cab to IMM where the autograph session was held at.
BTW, saw a Wei Xiang-lookalike... :O
Anyway!
The fans went crazy at seeing them, the screams were so loud...(
And 2AM was wearing the same clothes. Wearing for one whole day...)
And they sang Like Crazy live!

Then they took pictures together...
As in, for the reporters. Again.
Then I saw that I could be seen in one of the photos...
And I was like OMG cos I didn't pose.
(They requested us to do some posing. But I thought the camera couldn't see so I didn't bother. ARGH.)
(LOL now I checking out the AMPed website... And saw my name on the winners list. LOL.)Then after that it was FINALLY the autograph session!
(BTW, I didn't buy the album, and I realised they only signed albums... So I told this to the person-in-charge, and he was like okay I'll get you one. So I got one. For free. :D And while it contained a silver ticket, it was good cos we got the priority queue (confirmed autographs, and even before the golden ticket holders), and got the premiums (file folder and poster) as well... :DDDD)
At first we were supposed to open the album for them to sign, and one of the winners was like I hope they don't sign on the face.
Another winner said, no lah why would they want to block their own faces LOL.
But then somehow somebody changed their mind... And Seulong closed the album for me.
Whee!!!~~
If I had been just one person back, that would suck cos the person behind me had her album closed by the assistants around... roughly. Damaged the lyrics booklet. Well, aren't I lucky.
And then...
Me: Annyeong haseyo oppa! Saranghaeyo~ (I stuttered at the saranghaeyo, so I wasn't sure if he heard me correctly. And this is weird, because wasn't I supposed to stutter at the first word instead? O.o)
Seulong (obviously! Who else who it be?) : (smiles) Thanks! (in English, no less.)Wheee~~~~~
And I said annyeong haseyo to the rest of the group as well (but no saranghaeyo).
And then...
Me: OMGOMGOMG. *in total overwhelmed mode*
Diana: OMGOMGOMG. I SHOOK SEULONG'S HAND!!!
Me: OMG. I CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT ABOUT IT!!! :(
Aww sad...
If only...
But never mind.
